C&J Stores, North Lonsdale Road (basic, open 8:30-3:30, Mon - Fri) 
Co-op, Priory Road (near the Leisure Centre, open late every day)
Tesco Metro, Market Street (town centre, open 7 days till late)
Booths supermarket on A590 by Shell and Texaco, closes 9pm except Sun 4pm
 
Ulverston International Train Station has reguarly services from Barrow-in-Furness, Lancaster, Preston and Manchester. Walking from the train station will take approximately 25 minutes and it's all down hill!
 
By road, turn off the M6 at Junction 36, follow the A590 into Ulverston then refer to our map on the homepage.
 
It is advisable to book local taxis in advance.

Old Friends, good crack, nice ales, often music, all down hill coming back  
Alongside the numerous, quality cafes in town, there are also two cafes within easy distance along the coast:
 
World Peace Cafe at Manjushri Kadampa Medition Centre (Conishead Priory), open every day except during festivals.
 
Bardsea Icecream Kiosk,  also offers breakfast, brunch and sandwiches with a sea view.
